THE HOUSE AT POOH CORNER--LONDON / FIRST EDITION / Copyright 1928 Fourth in the series of four lovable books --all about an adourable bear named Winnie-the -pooh Written by A.A. MILNE Illustrated by E.H. Shepard Dust-jacket is in good condition, with the exception that the front & back have separated evenly and smoothly along the spine; and the top and bottom of the spine is partially thorned. and missing [See photo] The dustjacket has a fair amount of wear, considering it is 80 years old.. It is faded, but there are no scratches, stains, smudging or writing of any kind on its cover.[See photo] The dust jacket is protected by a clear book cover. The cover of the book has faded; but, the gold gilded trimming and the gold imprint, of a child & a bear, on the cover has remain unchanged. [See photo] Moreover, the edges of the cover show wear, but there are no scratches , stains or writings of any kind on the front or back cover; nor is there any rubbing. [See photos] The spine is intact and tight;--there are no loose or missing pages, nor is there any tears or repairs. The interior of the book is clean, with very little yellow patina to the pages, common to vintage books. [See photos] However, there is an inscription on the first page of the book. [See photo] Otherwise, there are no stains, smudging, scribbling, or writing of any kind. NO RESERVE. Shipping & Insurance are FREE.--[with the exception of any extra charges, such as taxes and/or duties, including those levied by Customs, are the buyer's responsibility] OVERALL CONDITION: A 80 year old "EVERY GOOD COPY " of a British First Edition (copyright 1928), with its original dust-jacket.
