These were printed in England. The Fellowship of the Ring 1954. The Two Towers 1955 and The Return of the King 1956. These are truely antique collectors items. They are in great shape with intact maps. The dust jackets show some age around the edges but have no tape on them. Currently these extremely rare editions are selling for 12,000 Euros. With these books comes an appraisal from 1988 listing them at up to $600 which was done by the Pacific Book Company of Salem, Oregon. Since that time the have been very well protected and are in the same condition as when appraised. The value of course has increased considerably.
