Bound in original Publishers vellum, gilt top edge, other uncut. Gilt design on spine and both boards, binding slightly bowed, some brown marking to top board, could be heat/burn marks (see picture), some scoring to bottom board, some light dust-staining. Generally the binding is in good condition, and with some work could be restored to very good condtion. Internally: endpapers dusty/slightly grubby. Back fixed endpaper with a short tear to top, which could be repaired. Otherwise a few pages dusty with light rubbing and marking, but generally internally this is a good clean copy.A very hard to find Limited Edition with the original signed watercolour by Bakst, a beautiful addition to any collectionONLY ONE OTHER COPY FOUND FOR SALE ON INTERNET AT A PRICE OF £13,000!!
