This is the book dubbed "The Holy Grail" of cake decorating! This is THE first edition of this book. From what I understand, there is a 1936 version of this book that was published by a publishing house that some list as 1st edition. This version was published by Lambeth himself. There are 20 color illustrations that have almost a 3-d look to them. This book is in used condition. It has the tell tale signs of a master through out. It has the apperance of your mothers cookbook with finger prints where the pages have been turned and smudges of frosting typical of a master at work in the kitchen. Please see pic's for trouble spots with the cover on the top and bottom edges. There is one split to the binding and scuffing consistant with age.
