A rare and unique book !!     French First Edition ~ published in 1954 ~ Paris, France. *  [ To the best of my knowledge, there is also an American edition  that was published later. ] The  book opens with  several pages of introductory  text written in french; followed by a collection of 180 drawings created  by Picasso between November 28, 1953 and February 03, 1954. [See photos ]. 164 Heliogravures are by the Master printers* les Frères Draeger *and the16 coloured lithographs  by the * les Frères  Mourlot * in Paris, France. A beautiful crisp copy with only slight wear  or abrasion found along the top edges of the cover and spine,  [more evident on the  blue side than the red.]; otherwise, it is in mint condition. [See photos] There are no inscriptions, labels or writings of any kind. No creasing of the pages, scratches, smudging, rubbing,  or stains; Nor, is there any loose  or missing pages; as well as, tears and/or repairs.  To the best of my knowledge and my research, there has never been a dust~jacket allocated to the French Edition of this book, unlike the American Edition... which did. [  If anyone knows differently, please contact me--it would be appreciated ] NO RESERVE Shipping & Insurance are FREE.
