Follow their trials and tribulations through the eyes of TEE THIBODEAU, from their expulsion from their lands, to being forced onto ships, and landing on hostile shores to involuntary labor by becoming indentured servants. Continued harassment and poor living conditions force them into becoming uprooted again and starting fresh in a new land, and with new dangers. The THIBODEAU'S fight for their lives in a new land against a hostile climate and battle unfriendly Indians. They secure a toehold in this new land, build their first home, and learn the skills necessary to survive. The author, MITCHELL CHAMPAGNE, is a descendent of those ancestors. The Acadians, now known as Cajuns, now number in the millions. THE ACADIAN EXPULSION IS a complete 75,000 word Historical Novel that begins in the middle 1700’s. The ACADIAN EXPULSION is the first book of a series.
