The letter opener is 6 3/8 inches long, ending in a point. The front of the letter opener has a woven design and there is a plain silver disk at the top, which is perfect for engraving. The back is plain silver (see photo). This solid letter opener weighs almost one ounce and is in very good, used condition. There aren't any dents, but there are a few minor surface scratches.  And if you take it to your jeweler to be engraved, the jeweler can easily buff them away.  E-mail me with any questions.
